Deer in the road!!!

WE ALMOST HIT A DEER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today while we were coming home from Wal-Mart we almost hit a deer. My mom didn't see it and I thought she did. We didn't hit it luckily but I said, "MOM!!!" and covered my face. Let me tell you I did not want that deer in my face NO WAY! Luck our brakes worked. I hate the winter time. Especially since its cold and the deer need food so they come down here and then we see lots of them and almost run them over with our car. I hate the Winter.

Coming or Going?

Just a line to say, I'm living
That I'm not among the dead
though I'm getting more forgetful
and mixed up in my head.

Sometimes I can't remember when I
stand in front of the stairs,
if I'm going up them for something
or just came down from there!

I stand before the fridge so often
my poor mind filled with doubt,
have I put food away or have
I come to take some out!

There are times when it is dark
with my night cap on my head,
I don't kknow whether I'm retiring
or just got out of bed!

If it is my time to write you
there is no need in getting sore,
I may think that I have written
and don't wish to be a bore.

So remember that I love you
and wish that you were here.
Now it's time to say goodbye
the mailman is drawing near.

so here I stand before the mailbox
with my face an awful red.
I didn't mail your letter, , , ,
I opened it instead!

Percy the Squirrel

I'm going to tell you about a squirrel named Percy. His name is Percy because he was a very persistent little guy. He would sneak into my grandmothers house through her mailbox its one of those mailboxes that are attached to your house so you don't have to go outside to get your mail. Well Percy was a very hungry little guy and so he would go into my grandma's house and find grapes on the kitchen table and he would peel the grapes and eat them. Well you can only guess how my mom and brother reacted when they went into the house and found this starving little critter on the table eating grapes and leaving a mess of grape peelings on the table. With my mother screaming, "It's a squirrel!!" The squirrel jumped off of the kitchen table ran out of the room and into my grandma's bedroom. It took my mom and brother forever to get the squirrel out of the house and had to find a way to make sure the squirrel didn't come back in. My grandpa tried everything that you could think of to keep that squirrel out of his house. But the squirrel kept on trying. Percy even got to the point where he was trying to chew his way through the bathroom window screen. They (my grandparents) think that Percy is a she and that she had been living in their attic and was trying to get back to a nest of babies . But finally she gave up after 3 days. Poor little critter.

Fields of Alfalfa in Your Backyard

Every single day I see cows, hear cows, smell cows, eat cows(not everyday but close enough). My mother bought half of a cow and it is in my freezer at this very minute(we have eaten some of it and sold some to my uncle but thats not the point). Sometimes in the middle of the night the cows freak out and moo a lot. But out in the middle of dairy land there are skunks and they smell really bad when you run them over. There are many little critters that get into your garbage scare you and jump in front of your car so you run into them and have to pay big amounts of money to fix it. Poor little or big animals that have to dodge cars their whole life. You may think that I'm some weird person that rambles about cows because they take over her life. But I have a point to make City people are not men't to share the same area with cows. You may hear many wildlife stories in this blog but you will also hear weird things that I have to go through in this Hick town that they call a city.
